The Lighter Association pursues the following objectives:

To foster and advance the interests of the lighter industry.
To promote safety and encourage proper usage of lighters.
To collect and disseminate pertinent information relating to the lighter industry.
To present industry views to government bodies, federal and state.
To support the conduct of business on the basis of effort, expertise and ability, with ethical and responsible behavior in compliance with the laws and regulations of pertinent government authorities.
